The Tamiya 95297 Sunny-Shuttle Premium brings back the Truckin Mini 4WD vibe from 1990 with a bold yellow truck shell, smoke-tinted windows and accurate marking stickers. It is a strong choice for hobbyists who collect classic Mini 4WDs or tune machines for club track runs, and it rides on the AR chassis known for robust construction and straightforward upgrades.
The AR chassis balances on-track performance with simple maintenance. Its shaped undertray channels airflow beneath the model to help cool the motor and batteries while running, prolonging component life. Built-in low-friction plastic bearings reduce drivetrain drag so you keep more power on the track.
This Sunny-Shuttle Premium uses small-diameter front and rear wheels with differing widths, fitted with gold wire-style spokes on slick tyres. The design allows motor and battery access without removing the body thanks to screw-on side catch mounts. The under panel and diffuser are removable separately, and a low-friction rear skid bar helps maintain speed on ramps and slopes.
Note that this kit requires two R6/AA/UM3 batteries which are sold separately to power the model.
