Tamiya 95150 Jr Hyper-Dash 3 Motor Japan Cup 2022 Commemorative Unit

This special Tamiya 95150 Jr Hyper-Dash 3 Motor celebrates the Japan Cup 2022 and is built with Mini 4WD fans in mind. It pairs practical on-track performance with a distinctive silver and blue-green label plus the red endbell, making it both a useful upgrade and a piece collectors will appreciate.

Track Performance and Measured Specs

The motor is engineered to provide balanced handling across a variety of layouts, improving acceleration and midrange response for your Mini 4WD. It runs on an input voltage of 2.4-3.0V, delivers torque around 1.4-1.9mN-m and spins between 17,200-21,200 rpm. Current draw is rated at 1.6-3.0A for consistent output during timed runs.

Fitting Notes and Practical Use

Compatible with most Mini 4WD chassis, it is not suitable for the Mini 4WD PRO series. Installation requires an 8T pinion gear, which is supplied separately. The motor uses silver carbon mix material brushes to improve electrical contact and durability under race conditions.

I have been purchasing Tamiya products with Rcjaz for a couple of months now, selection is awesome and service is quick and reliable, considering I leave half way around the world.
Installation is straightforward for anyone familiar with Mini 4WD builds. You will need an 8T pinion gear and standard motor mounts; follow your chassis guide for motor alignment.
This motor is tuned for balanced performance, making it suitable for mixed technical circuits and faster straights where steady torque and controlled top end matter.
Keep the commutator and brushes clean, check for loose endbell screws, and spin the shaft to feel for roughness. Replace brushes if wear affects performance.
