The Tamiya 95120 Baron Viento Japan Cup 2019 release celebrates the annual event while delivering the proven Mini 4WD format. Built on the FM-A chassis with a front motor configuration, this kit balances aerodynamic styling and practical track performance for both display builders and competitive hobbyists.
The FM-A platform is tuned for front motor mass distribution, improving cornering stability and handling on courses with rises and drops. The kit includes low-friction front skid bars plus four rollers and robust 8mm rear rollers to keep the car stable during fast sections. The chassis parts are injection molded in black ABS for reliable strength and simple motor access.
The Baron Viento body is produced in black ABS and ships with a dedicated sticker sheet that includes the Japan Cup 2019 graphics. Red dish wheels are fitted with super hard tyres and white pad-printed sidewalls, creating a bold look that also suits race settings where durability matters.
This kit is designed for a Type 130 motor with a factory 3.5:1 gear ratio; it runs on two AA batteries that are sold separately. A wide selection of Grade-Up Parts is available to refine handling, speed and cornering for club competition or weekend track sessions.
