The Tamiya 94697 HG Hard FRP Wide Plate R is an upgrade plate made for Mini 4WD racers who want a stiffer chassis mounting point. The wide plate uses hard FRP material with a 25% carbon fiber layer for improved rigidity without excessive weight. At 3mm thick it balances durability with a low profile suitable for competitive track use.

Fit and Compatibility Notes

This wide plate is made to work with a range of Mini 4WD chassis, including MS chassis when used with bumperless T-03 units and T-01 units with the rear stays removed. It is also compatible with VS, X, and TZ-X chassis types. Note that it is not compatible with the Mini 4WD PRO body Nitrage Jr. (Item 18619).

Track Performance and Width

The Tamiya 94697 supports multiple roller positions and can accept 9mm, 13mm, or 19mm bearing rollers to set a machine width of 104mm, keeping you under the official 105mm limit. This precision fit helps enhance lateral stability and control during high speed sections.
