The Tamiya 89799 model kit captures the spirit of the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds F-16C Block 32/52 as showcased on their 2009 Far East Tour. This 1/48 scale kit gives modellers the chance to craft an accurate representation of a famous aerobatic aircraft known for tight formation work and bold paint.

Scale accurate components and finish

Parts are sculpted to show the red, white and blue Thunderbirds livery and the thunderbird emblem under the fuselage. The reinforced main landing gear strut and the pronounced bulged gear covers are modelled to mirror the Block 52 features used by the team from 2009 onwards.
