The Tamiya 89790 kit recreates the U.S. modern 4x4 utility vehicle in 1/48 scale, a common workhorse in recent military operations. This release captures the vehicle used for troop movements and logistics in desert environments and is offered here as a single kit rather than as part of a set.

Scale-accurate interior and running gear

The model includes rubber tyres with authentic-looking tread, an accurately modelled dashboard and a finished interior. Doors are moulded so they can be shown open or shut, which helps when composing a display. A ring mount is positioned on the roof section for a gunner and the kit supplies a 1/48 scale M60 machine gun.

Markings and display pieces

The kit provides three marking options representing units from the Gulf War period and includes two military figures for scene building and display choices.
