This updated brush uses PBT resin bristles that are slightly stiff and long lasting, giving painters predictable stroke behaviour and better control than many softer natural hair brushes. The bristles are designed to keep their shape through repeated use.

Robust handle and practical grip

The handle is made from solvent-resistant plastic so it stands up to a range of paints and thinners. It also carries laser-engraved "TAMIYA MODELING BRUSH HG II" text for an authentic finish.

The butt end includes a small anti-roll tab to stop the brush from rolling off benches and protecting the tip. If you prefer a smooth handle, that tab can be clipped off with side cutters.
