Clean, Accurate Bonds for Transparent Parts

Tamiya 87188 Clear Multi-Purpose Cement is a reliable adhesive for hobbyists who need neat joins on clear and plated components. It is formulated to bond transparent sections while minimising damage to nearby painted areas.

Low-Stringing, Controlled Application

The thin, low-viscosity mix of Tamiya 87188 makes it easy to apply with minimal stringing, giving you fine control for window and trim work. That steady flow helps when aligning small parts or securing chrome-plated details on RC bodies.

Versatile Use in Model Builds and Repairs

This cement works well across a range of RC tasks from mounting clear windows to fixing small decorative parts. Its mild solvent action helps protect painted finishes when used carefully and in thin amounts.

Love doing the 1/6 scale Tamiya motorcycles . Would love to do more . Will you ever again supply the Harley's and the BMW's ? Can find the odd one on E-BAY but the asking prices are outrageous .

Very quick and friendly service! Will definitely order again.
Yes, Tamiya 87188 bonds common RC plastics such as ABS and polycarbonate, but it is good practice to test on a scrap piece first to confirm compatibility.
When used sparingly the gentle formula should not mar finishes; avoid soaking painted areas and allow each joint to set before handling.
Apply small dots with a fine brush or needle applicator, work at room temperature, and wipe the tip between uses to keep flow consistent and prevent threads.
