The Tamiya 86036 PS-36 Translucent Silver spray is made for polycarbonate RC car bodies and lays down a thin, even film when applied from inside the shell. A single 100ml can is suitable for multiple bodies depending on coverage and technique.

How to Spray for Best Results

Spray from the interior of the body, keeping roughly 30cm between the nozzle and the surface to reduce runs and pooling. Apply several light passes rather than one heavy coat and let the first layer dry fully before adding another. Use Tamiya bottle paints or fine brushes for small details once the main coats are cured.

Performance Under Track Conditions

This translucent formulation is designed to resist oil and fuel exposure typical in RC racing, helping paintwork hold up during use. It pairs well with polycarbonate shells used on most on-road and off-road models.
