Tamiya 84368 TRF201X Body: Fit and Function

The Tamiya 84368 TRF201X Body is a purpose-built upgrade for racers who have modified their TRF201 chassis. This limited edition shell was created to match the geometry of TRF201 vehicles fitted with XR or XM conversion components.

Design Details and Compatibility Notes

This body has been extended by 8mm compared to earlier releases to suit the longer layouts produced by the XR and XM conversion kits. It works with the TRF201 chassis only when paired with Item 42253 (TRF201XR Lower Deck Set) or Item 42257 (TRF201XM Conversion Set). It will not fit the stock TRF201 without those upgrade parts installed.

What the Kit Contains

The package includes the preformed body shell plus pre-cut masking stickers to speed up painting and detailing. Note that the cut-lines vary between the XR and XM setups to ensure an accurate trimming pattern for each conversion.
