Can I paint bare metal with this acrylic?

This paint is not intended for unprimed metal. Use a suitable primer designed for metal before applying the acrylic for best adhesion.

Do I need to thin it for airbrushing?

Yes. Thin with recommended Tamiya thinners such as 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520 or 87077 to achieve a stable spray and prevent clogging.

How should I clean brushes and equipment?

Because the paint is water soluble, clean brushes with warm water and mild soap before it dries. For airbrushes, flush with thinner after use for a deeper clean.
