Tamiya 73018 Display Case for Clear, Dust-Free Presentation

Model builders and collectors who work with 1/350 scale ship kits will appreciate the Tamiya 73018 display case for its simple protection and clean sightlines. The case is made to hold finely detailed ships while keeping them safe from dust and casual knocks.

Materials and Build Quality

The main cover uses 3mm thick acrylic so models remain fully visible, while the base is a 12mm thick dark brown MDF panel that gives the unit weight and a neutral display surface. Together they provide a low-maintenance home for delicate builds.

Sized for Standard 1/350 Warships

The internal space measures 620mm x 125mm x 165mm, allowing you to display models such as:

  • Japanese Aircraft Carrying Cruiser Mogami
  • Japanese Light Cruiser Mikuma
  • Japanese Navy Heavy Cruiser Mogami

Each model sits securely inside the case so you can arrange a shelf of ships without worrying about dust or accidental contact.

Specifications

  • Material: Acrylic (Case), MDF (Base)
  • Inner Dimensions: 620mm x 125mm x 165mm

Very well packed for fragile item shipped to Hawaii. Quick and responsive service!
The cover is formed from clear 3mm acrylic and the base is 12mm thick MDF finished in a dark brown tone for a neat display surface.
If the overall height and length of your model, including masts and fittings, stay within 620mm x 125mm x 165mm then the case will accommodate them; measure your completed kit before installation.
Use a soft microfiber cloth and a plastic-safe cleaner or mild soapy water, avoiding abrasive cloths or household glass cleaners that can cloud acrylic.
