The Tamiya 72101 kit is built for hobbyists and STEM-focused robotics projects. This package contains two gearhead 380K75 motors paired with high-grip sponge tires, providing a compact drive solution for small robots and educational models. The 380K75 runs on DC7.2V, turns at about 242 rpm unloaded, and delivers a peak torque of 5.0 kg/cm, making it capable of supporting a combined load near 4kg for basic competitive or demonstration use.
Use this kit to prototype competition-ready small bots or to test drive and traction ideas. Each motor and tire assembly can handle roughly 2kg, and the kit includes motor mounts, wheel hub shafts, and basic assembly hardware to ease integration into custom chassis and projects.
