Bullhead Reissue with Modern Touches

The Tamiya 58535 - 1/10 RC Bullhead (2012) is a reissued classic that nods to vintage tractor-style monster trucks while adding contemporary improvements. The kit brings back the familiar silhouette with refinements that suit both collectors and active RC drivers.

Classic Tractor Truck Styling

The Bullhead features metal-plated trim that mimics air cleaners and exhaust stacks, giving the body an authentic vintage truck look. Large 165mm diameter tyres complete the aggressive stance and help the model dominate rough ground.

Robust Drive and Steering Setup

Powered by a twin-motor 4WD layout and a 4-wheel steering system, the Bullhead is capable of tight manoeuvres and stable handling. Eight coil spring dampers add resilience over uneven surfaces for a versatile on- and off-road performer.

Kit Build with Updated Electronics

This release includes an ESC designed for twin motors to manage power delivery, and the assembly kit format makes it a satisfying build for experienced modellers. The hands-on construction combines nostalgia with practical modern components.

The Tamiya Bullhead suits experienced builders who value classic truck aesthetics and a robust, buildable platform for off-road play and display.

Hobbyists with some kit-building experience will get the most from this chassis and body assembly; it is rewarding but involves multiple steps and wiring for the twin motors.
You will need a compatible radio system with receiver and servo, plus a 7.2V battery pack and suitable charger to power the included ESC and twin motors.
No lighting is supplied. If you want LEDs for headlights or taillights you will need to add light buckets and wiring as an upgrade.
The stock gear ratio is fixed in this configuration, so altering top speed or torque requires major drivetrain modification rather than a simple swap.
