The ARTA-backed Honda NSX has been a fixture in Super GT competition since its 2000 debut. By 2005 the car raced as an official Honda works entry under Team Honda Racing, highlighted by a dominant pole-to-finish at Round 7 in Autopolis. With drivers Daisuke Ito and Ralf Firman, the team finished second in both the Driver and Team championships that season. Tamiya brings that racing provenance to the hobby in a ready-to-run package.
The Tamiya 57753 XB uses the TT-01 platform, praised for straightforward setup and dependable on-road behaviour. Its bathtub frame keeps the electronics and battery mounted low and flat for improved balance and a reduced centre of gravity. The model features 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension and front and rear differentials for predictable control through corners.
This kit ships with a fully assembled TT-01 chassis and a pre-painted polycarbonate body that faithfully reproduces the ARTA NSX livery. The car rolls on race-style wheels with slick tyres to deliver usable grip on smooth surfaces. Included is the Expec R/C system and a trigger-type transmitter so you can hit the track right away.
The Tamiya 57753 XB ARTA NSX is well suited to hobbyists who want a realistic on-road model that balances scale detail with race-ready performance.
