Metal Air Horn Upgrade for 1/14 Tractor Models

The Tamiya 56540 Metal Air Horn Set is a solid upgrade for 1/14 scale RC tractor trucks, intended to replace fragile molded plastic horns with stronger metal units. This kit boosts the visual detail on rigs such as the King Hauler, Globe Liner, and Grand Hauler while offering practical toughness.

Built Tough, Looks Accurate

Compared with plated plastic horns, these metal parts resist damage from light impacts and routine handling. The metal construction extends service life and gives your model a more authentic, scale-accurate appearance that appeals to detail-minded hobbyists.

Fitting and Mounting Notes

These horns are made for straightforward fitting on most 1/14 scale trailers, though a small amount of drilling may be required on some shells for the best alignment. Have a drill and screwdriver handy and fasten the horns with screws for a stable, long-lasting attachment.

I love the items there are great thanks very much
A small drill, drill bits sized for pilot holes, and a Phillips screwdriver are usually enough. Masking tape helps prevent the shell from cracking when drilling.
They are compatible with most King Hauler, Globe Liner, and Grand Hauler bodies, but some models may need minor hole enlargement or repositioning for a flush fit.
Use small countersunk screws where possible and touch up any exposed mounting points with paint. A drop of thread locker can help keep screws secure without damaging the shell.
