The Tamiya 54947 TT-02 Carbon Damper Stay II is a straightforward upgrade that firms up the suspension on TT-02 chassis cars. It is aimed at drivers wanting crisper handling and more predictable mid-corner behavior.

3.5mm Carbon Fiber for Improved Strength

This damper stay is produced from 3.5mm carbon fiber, giving noticeably greater stiffness than thinner plates. The thicker material reduces flex under load, helping the car hold its line at higher speeds.

Multiple Mounting Holes for Tuning

Four attachment points are provided so you can alter damper angles and roll characteristics. These mounting options let hobbyists tune for smoother tracks or tighter club circuits without swapping major components.

Fit Notes and Installation Advice

Compatibility covers most TT-02 models, but this part does not fit TT-02B or TT-02 Type-S. It pairs with the adjustable front upper arms in Item 54874 and is not compatible with Items 54000 and 42305. For best damping performance consider using the TRF Damper Set (Fluorine Coated).

It fits the majority of TT-02 variants but excludes TT-02B and TT-02 Type-S. Check your chassis type before ordering.
The thicker 3.5mm carbon fiber reduces flex in the upper suspension mount, producing a firmer feel, improved turn-in, and more stable high speed behavior.
