The Tamiya 54919 Type 370 Torque-Tuned Motor delivers a torque-focused upgrade for Star-Unit Series hobby cars. It fits SW-01 and T3-01 chassis, giving a straightforward way to increase acceleration and low-speed control without complex modification.

Pinion and gear pairing

For the SW-01 chassis use Item 54228 (26T) as the matching pinion and consider pairing with Items 54834, 54857, and 54876 for correct drivetrain alignment. On the T3-01 chassis choose either Item 50354 (16T) or Item 50355 (18T), and use them together with Items 54900 and 54928 to maintain reliable gearing and performance.

Battery and power choices

The motor runs from standard Tamiya R6/AA/UM3 batteries or Item 55105, so you can select the cell type that suits your session length and convenience. Using the recommended cells helps preserve consistent output and reduces the chance of voltage sag during runs.
