If you run hard and replace bodies often, Tamiya 54792 RC Polycarbonate Body Reinforced Mesh Tape is a useful way to add strength to weak spots such as spoilers, wheel arches and lower edges. The tape is 35mm wide and supplied on a 2-meter roll so you can reinforce several panels or repair chips.

Fitting Advice for Lasting Bond

Apply the mesh to the inside face of the polycarbonate shell where extra support is needed. Use a clear silicone adhesive to secure it; that adhesive type sticks well and stays flexible so the tape holds under knocks and flex. Trim the tape to fit curved areas and press firmly for best contact.
