Upgrade steering precision with Tamiya 54704 aluminum arms

Give your TA07, TRF419 or TRF419X chassis a handling upgrade with the Tamiya 54704 Aluminum Steering Arms. Made from lightweight aluminum, these arms replace stock FRP plastic parts to reduce flex and sharpen steering response at speed. The design draws on the TRF419 race layout to deliver predictable, consistent steering feel on technical tracks.

Performance highlights

  • Material: Rigid aluminum construction for long life and lower weight than equivalent plastic parts.
  • Finish: Blue anodized surface adds corrosion resistance and a clean race look.
  • Ball Bearings: Pre-inserted 850 ball bearings help smooth steering movement and improve responsiveness.
  • Compatibility: Designed to fit TA07 PRO, TRF419 and TRF419X chassis without modification.

Setup notes

For best results, use these arms with Item 54705, the TA07 Aluminum Steering Bridge. That pairing helps eliminate slop and gives the tightest steering geometry for on-track performance.

You always exceed my expectations with super fast delivery and great updates on the status of my orders. Thank you.
They are made to replace the steering arms on TA07 PRO, TRF419 and TRF419X layouts. On a stock TA07 you may need to check link lengths and ball studs, but no major chassis modification is normally required.
The 850 ball bearings reduce friction at pivot points so the steering moves more freely and returns to center more consistently, which helps reduce twitchiness and improves driver confidence.
Keep the anodized surfaces clean and inspect the bearings periodically for grime. A light application of bearing oil and checking fastener torque will extend service life.
