Fit the Tamiya 54302 Center One-Way Pulley (18T) to change a full-time 4WD TA06 into a part-time 4WD setup. The unit shifts braking torque to the rear axle only, promoting more over-steer and allowing tighter, more responsive cornering on technical layouts.

Fitment Notes and Compatible Chassis

The Tamiya 54302 is compatible with TA06 and TA06 PRO chassis and includes both plastic and aluminium spacers to simplify installation. Keep in mind that on layouts with long heavy braking zones this conversion can make the car prone to excessive over-steer or spin outs, so tune accordingly.

How will handling change after fitting the pulley?

Expect more rear bias under deceleration which increases over-steer and improves agility through tight turns. You may need to adjust camber and toe to balance the change.

What tools and time are needed for installation?

Basic hand tools are enough and a careful install takes about 15 to 30 minutes depending on experience. Use the supplied spacers and check gear mesh after fitting.
