RC builders wanting greater durability and sharper handling for M05 and M06 cars will find the Tamiya 54267 Aluminum Rear Upright a practical upgrade. These blue-anodized aluminum uprights increase rear suspension rigidity, helping the car respond more precisely through corners.

Fit, toe settings and behaviour

The uprights are manufactured with a 2.0-degree toe-in geometry that matches the standard resin parts supplied in the kit. On an M-05 chassis the rear toe-in remains at 2.0 degrees, while fitting them to an M-06 chassis results in a 3.5-degree rear toe-in, improving straight-line stability and cornering control.

These uprights work with multiple chassis setups:

• M-05: Install together with the M-05 Adjustable Upper Arm Set (54182) and 1050 Ball Bearings (51239).
• M-05Ra: Use the same components as the M-05 plus the Aluminum Rear Upright Adapter for M-05Ra Chassis (54266).
• M-06PRO and M-06: Use with 1050 Ball Bearings (51239) for correct fit and performance.
