For RC racers who want tighter handling on the Tamiya TA05v.2 chassis, the Tamiya 54172 Aluminum Separate Suspension Mounts are a sturdy upgrade. These mounts take the place of the standard M5, 6, 8, and 9 parts and let you dial in toe-angle settings to suit different track conditions. With dual suspension ball installation pitches (1A-1XA), you get more setup flexibility for sharper cornering.

Setup Flexibility for Tuners

The dual pitch layout makes it easy to experiment with roll center and steering response. When these mounts are fitted to the rear side of the front suspension, they call for either the 5mm Suspension Ball (Item 50994) or the 5mm Fluorine Coated Suspension Ball (Item 53709) to ensure correct fit and reliable movement.
