Refine steering accuracy with Tamiya 54120 aluminum servo saver horn

The Tamiya 54120 Aluminum Horn is a compact upgrade for hobbyists wanting sharper steering control on M-Chassis RC cars. Made for high-torque servo savers, this aluminum horn brings consistent response and improved longevity to many Tamiya chassis setups.

Built for long service life

Machined from quality aluminum, the Tamiya 54120 horn delivers durable performance for regular track and club use. The anodized blue finish resists wear while giving a neat, professional look. It fits a range of Tamiya chassis including TB-03, TA05, DB01, DF-03, TRF501X, TRF416, and TRF415, making it a flexible choice for different builds.

Fitment and handling benefits

Designed to install on M-Chassis models using high-torque servo savers, this horn helps reduce steering play and improves feel during fast transitions. Its precise machining supports smoother servo output and more predictable steering input under load.

Just wanted to thank you very much for your excellent service and value for money I'm really happy with everything and would recommend any one to shop with confidence with you Again thank you very much
The horn is designed for Tamiya high-torque servo savers but can fit some aftermarket savers that match the same spline and mounting dimensions. Compare the spline count and centre bore before fitting.
The anodized blue finish improves corrosion resistance and surface hardness as well as appearance, so it helps protect the part during regular use.
Installation usually requires basic hand tools like small hex drivers and pliers. Keep the servo centred and follow the supplied instructions for correct alignment.
This replacement maintains the intended geometry of the servo saver system. Any noticeable change in steering ratio will depend on the horn arm length chosen and your servo setup.
