How do different spring rates change handling?

Stiffer springs reduce body roll and increase cornering stability but can make the ride firmer, while softer springs improve traction over uneven ground by allowing more wheel travel.

Will these springs fit other Tamiya kits?

They are made for the CR-01 shock geometry and seat positions. Other kits may accept them, but you should compare shock length and spring seat dimensions before assuming fitment.

What is the easiest way to swap springs on a CR-01?

Remove the shock from the arm or shock tower, compress to remove the retaining cap, swap the spring pair, then reassemble and check preload and ride height on both sides.
