The Tamiya 53701 - DF-02 Aluminum Damper Set is a solid suspension upgrade for hobbyists wanting improved handling on rough tracks and at speed. These anodized aluminum dampers add a durable, refined look while helping reduce harsh impact from jumps and uneven terrain.

Performance, Tuning, and Fit

The kit supplies two spacers for the front and three for the rear so you can dial in ride height and response. The anodized cylinders have a very smooth inner finish to support consistent damping. Stock springs are yellow, and you can expand tuning choices by fitting the DF-02 Spring Set (item 53702, sold separately).

Durability and Fine Adjustment

Two types of fluoroplastic pistons are included - two-hole and three-hole - letting you adjust damping flow to suit track or trail conditions. The Tamiya 53701 works well for club racing setups as well as weekend bashing.
