The Tamiya 53423 Aluminum Pinion Gear set is a straightforward upgrade for hobbyists running TA-04 chassis cars. The pack includes both 46T and 47T pinions that mount directly to the motor for quick gearing changes to refine acceleration or top speed.

Lightweight Aluminum Construction

Made from durable aluminum, these pinions are designed to handle hobby racing use. The set contains one 46-tooth and one 47-tooth pinion, together with three 3mm set screws and an allen key so you can fit them right away.

Fitment Notes and Installation Tips

Although optimised for the TA-04 chassis, the gears may also suit other 48P metric-pitch vehicles. When installing, check gear mesh and secure the supplied 3mm set screws to the motor shaft to prevent slippage.
