The Tamiya 51533 Subaru XV Body Parts Set is a finely formed polycarbonate shell that captures the crossover styling of the Subaru XV while staying light and durable for RC use. It is built to suit a range of Tamiya platforms and balances looks with practical fitment.

Precision Moulding and Chassis Compatibility

This kit reproduces the Subaru XV silhouette in tough polycarbonate and includes separate ABS side mirror parts for a detailed finish. A decal sheet and masking stickers are included to simplify painting and trim work. It fits TA06, DF-03Ra, TT-01, TT-01 Type-E, XV-01 and TT-02 chassis with a 257mm wheelbase for flexible installation options.

Is the Tamiya 51533 body pre-painted?

No, the shell arrives unpainted. Use polycarbonate-specific spray paints and the included masking stickers to achieve clean panel lines.

What basic tools do I need to fit this body?

A hobby knife, scissors, a fine file and a marker are useful for cutting out and trimming the body. Small pliers help when fitting the ABS mirror parts.

Will it mount to my TT-02 or XV-01 chassis?

Yes, the body is shaped for a 257mm wheelbase and is compatible with TT-02 if using the matching wheelbase setup, as well as the listed XV-01 and other supported Tamiya platforms.
