Polycarbonate that balances lightness and strength

Built from clear polycarbonate, the Sand-Viper shell keeps weight low while offering good impact resistance for off-road use. The set includes the main body plus a rear wing to help with stability and handling on loose terrain.

Easy to mount and personalise

Installation is simple thanks to the supplied Velcro tape, so you can secure the body without complicated brackets. Stickers are not included, leaving you free to paint and decal the shell to suit your style.

Will this body work on other Tamiya or non-Tamiya chassis?

This body is designed for the DT-02, TRF201 and DN-01 frames. Other chassis may fit with trimming, but compatibility is not guaranteed without checking mounting points.

How should I prepare the shell for painting?

Wash the polycarbonate with mild soap, then mask areas you want clear. Use paints made for polycarbonate and apply thin, even coats for the best finish.

Is the rear wing adjustable or included as standard?

The kit includes a rear wing to improve downforce. It mounts in standard positions for the compatible chassis; minor trimming or repositioning may be needed for custom setups.
