The Tamiya 51039 Calsonic GT-R 2003 Body Set is made for hobbyists who want an authentic small-scale GT shell. Suited to 1/10 scale models, this clear polycarbonate body mates with common Tamiya platforms including TT-01, TGS, TB-02 and TA-04 (not compatible with short wheelbase TA-04 variants). The polycarbonate construction keeps weight low while remaining resilient for both track use and display.

Painting and Mounting Advice

Before painting, cut the body from the blank using scissors and open mounting holes with a body reamer. Use polycarbonate-specific paint and follow box art if you want the traditional dark blue Calsonic look, or pick a custom colour to personalise the shell.
