The Tamiya 47319 Motul Autech GT-R Lightweight Body Set is built for racers aiming to improve lap times and control. This 1/10 scale shell uses 0.8mm polycarbonate to cut mass versus the standard 1.0mm variant (Item 51584). The reduced weight brings the car's center of gravity lower, which helps with mid-corner stability and quicker direction changes.

Scale-accurate styling and durable parts

The body captures the aggressive lines of the GT500 champion and includes separate ABS components for the side mirrors and rear wing to boost realism. A full sticker sheet and window mask stickers are supplied to make painting and finishing straightforward. The shell fits 257mm wheelbase touring car chassis for a reliable installation on most setups.

Paint and setup notes

For best finish and adhesion, use Tamiya PS polycarbonate paints when painting this body. The 190mm width works well for typical touring car setups, balancing cornering grip and straight-line speed without adding unnecessary drag.
