The Tamiya TG10-Mk.2 continues the evolution of nitro touring car design by refining ideas from the TG10-Mk.1 and TG10R. This kit targets experienced racers and builders by combining a modern layout with parts that support precise on-track tuning and handling.
The TG10-Mk.2 relocates the engine to the right side to improve intake and exhaust flow, helping the engine run more efficiently under load. Centralizing the fuel tank and other mass lowers the centre of gravity, which improves cornering stability and steering response on paved tracks.
This chassis includes a durable two-speed transmission for a wide powerband and aluminium TRF dampers for refined shock control. The ball connector suspension setup and the rear stabiliser give clear adjustment points so racers can dial in handling for different circuits. Four bevel pinion gears are included to help match gearing to track demands.
Note that this is a kit only: body, engine, muffler and manifold are not supplied. The design accepts a .12 rear exhaust engine with an SG shaft and requires a separate starter box for ignition.
