The core of the TRF420 is a belt-driven 4WD system paired with a rear gear differential and a direct pulley arrangement at the front and centre. This layout helps keep power delivery smooth while enabling fine adjustments to balance and traction. Lightweight gear diff pulley and case updates trim roughly 1.5g and help reduce oil seepage.

A redesigned integrated plastic section on the front direct pulley saves about 2g and simplifies maintenance by allowing direct cup replacement without dismantling the entire pulley assembly.

Suspension and Steering Flexibility

The TRF420 brings a flexible suspension package with new arms that accept bushing inserts to change lever ratios for different circuits. Rear arms shifted by 3mm let the lower deck be shorter, improving traction. Adjustable mounting points and bushing choices expand toe, roll center, and caster tuning for precise on-track handling.
