Track-Focused Carbon Upgrade for TRF101

The Tamiya 42286 Carbon Fiber Front Suspension Set is built to sharpen handling on the TRF101 chassis. The kit brings together carefully cut carbon parts and metal mounting points to help reduce flex where it counts, giving drivers cleaner steering response and more stable cornering.

High Precision Carbon Arms

Included are 2.5mm carbon fiber upper and lower arms that balance lightweight feel with structural strength. The lower arms are symmetrically shaped to promote consistent geometry and repeatable corner performance lap after lap.

Sturdy Aluminum Mounting Hardware

Aluminum suspension and servo mounts are supplied to reinforce key attachment points and keep alignment under load. These metal pieces help preserve setup integrity during aggressive runs and frequent adjustments.

Specifications

  • Upper Arm Thickness: 2.5mm Carbon Fiber
  • Lower Arm Thickness: 2.5mm Carbon Fiber
  • Mount Materials: Aluminum
  • Compatibility: TRF101, TRF101W (requires additional parts for TRF101W)
Yes. It fits the TRF101W but you will need two 3x55mm turnbuckle shafts (2pcs) separately to configure the standard narrow layout.
Carbon plate parts lower unwanted flex and keep suspension geometry more consistent, which sharpens steering input and improves mid-corner stability without adding much weight.
Dry-fit parts first, use threadlocker on metal fasteners where appropriate, and check servo mount alignment before final tightening to avoid binding and ensure smooth steering travel.
