Fitment Tips for On-Car Use

To operate the Handy Starter, insert the drive shaft into the chosen driven gear unit and press the starter button. For best results cut appropriate access holes in the body shell so the glow plug heater and starter can be used while the body remains fitted.

Battery and Heater Requirements

The unit requires a 7.2V battery and a separate glow plug heater, both sold separately. These items supply the current and heat needed to ignite your engine reliably.
