The Tamiya 1/35 British Cruiser Tank A34 Comet model kit gives hobbyists a chance to construct a historically relevant WWII tank with careful attention to detail. Celebrated for its role against late-war German armor, the Comet is represented here with parts and textures aimed at modellers and collectors who value authenticity.
The A34 Comet entered service late in World War II and was notably used during Operation Varsity in March 1945. Derived from the Cromwell design, it mounted a larger turret with a 17-pounder-styled gun, improving its ability to handle Panther and Tiger threats. Production reached roughly 900 units including post-war variants, underlining its place in British armored history.
This 1/35 kit is produced with precision engineering, measuring 219mm long and 88mm wide when built. The box-style vertical-plane hull mirrors the original vehicle structure, and the moulding reproduces turret cast surfaces and the gun shield canvas cover. Clear parts are included for the searchlight to boost visual accuracy.
