This Tamiya 35366 model reproduces the British Achilles tank destroyer in 1/35 scale, highlighting the 17-pounder armed conversion of the American M10. The kit focuses on historical accuracy and fine exterior shaping, reflecting the vehicle's combat role after the Normandy campaigns.
The M10 IIC variant saw production from spring 1944 and features a late turret design with an enlarged rear counterweight to balance the heavier 17-pounder gun. Tamiya captures these changes with precisely moulded parts that represent the sloped armour and long barrel of the gun.
Beyond external detail, the kit includes internal elements such as shell racks and a multi-piece 17-pounder breech assembly. Four crew figures are supplied to help create realistic diorama scenes and to show crew positions during action.
Decal options cover vehicles from the 93rd Anti-Tank Regiment in Italy and the 75th Anti-Tank Regiment in Northwest Europe, giving authentic paint and insignia choices for display models.
