In World War II the British Army improved airborne mobility by issuing a compact folding bicycle that could be carried by each paratrooper. Nicknamed the Parabike, the design used a hinged frame to fold small enough for transport by aircraft and to be handled easily after a jump. This 1/35 kit captures that clever solution and gives modellers a focused assembly project with historic appeal.
The kit includes two bicycles that can be built either folded or extended, plus separate handle and pedal parts to boost realism. Two figure castings are supplied, one shown mounting a bike and the other pushing it, with alternate headgear and arm positions for custom poses. The parts provide straightforward modelling options for weathering, painting and diorama placement.
