Add fine-scale detail to your Leclerc build

For modellers aiming to refine their kit work, the Tamiya 35280 - 1/35 Leclerc Series 2 photo-etched parts bring a noticeable leap in surface fidelity and scale accuracy. These components are cut from ultra-thin stainless steel to resist corrosion and avoid the common tarnish issues seen in softer metals.

Accurate small-scale parts for authentic appearance

Including fine mesh for the cargo rack and a realistic air conditioner screen, this set upgrades visible areas that make the model read correctly at display distance. Hull grilles, fuel tank straps and the commander's hatch rim are all reproduced to match the real vehicle, plus a nameplate that enhances presentation.

Craftsmanship That Stands the Test of Time

Tamiya's use of stainless steel provides durable, crisp parts that hold paint and weathering well, improving the long-term look of your display model without sacrificing detail.

Great service and price thank you.
Installation needs basic photo-etch skills: careful bending, fine superglue or soldering where appropriate, and patient trimming. A photo-etch bending tool and tweezers make the job much easier.
Cyanoacrylate (superglue) bonds quickly to stainless steel when surfaces are clean. Use primer designed for metal before acrylic or enamel paints to ensure even coverage and weathering adhesion.
They are tailored for the Leclerc Series 2, but similar-area parts like grilles or nets can sometimes be adapted to other kits with minor trimming and shaping.
