The Tamiya 35234 kit recreates the U.S. M20 Armored Utility Car, a nimble command and reconnaissance vehicle used from 1943 onwards. Built as an M8 Greyhound modification, the M20 was valued for its open-top layout and roomy crew area.
On the battlefield the M20 served in scouting and command tasks thanks to its mobility and adaptability. This model captures those traits and gives hobbyists a faithful assembly project with period-accurate details.
The 1/35 scale assembly presents a lowered hull and open roof, complete with seating for crew, a folding table for the commander and radio fittings. Accessories supplied mimic field gear and include a bazooka, ammo rounds and a ring-mounted M2 heavy machine gun, plus figure pairings for driver and commander to stage scenes.
