The M4 Sherman tank stands as a defining armored vehicle of World War II, forming the backbone of Allied ground forces. Celebrated for reliability and adaptability, the Sherman was built in large numbers, and this Tamiya model recreates an early production example with attention to period detail for serious model builders.
First used during the Italian campaign in May 1943, the Sherman saw widespread action despite often facing heavier enemy armour. Its effectiveness came from dependability and mass production rather than raw firepower. The Tamiya 35190 kit allows hobbyists to reproduce this important vehicle with historically informed detailing.
The 1/35 kit includes finely moulded plastic parts in dark green, offering a realistic base for paint and weathering. The exterior is fully detailed and the one-piece cast turret mounts a 75mm main gun while the set also provides flexible tracks. Included are three U.S. soldier figures plus accessories like helmets, jerry cans and ammo packs to help build a compact diorama.
