The Citroen 11CV, commonly called Traction Avant, introduced front-wheel drive to mainstream automotive design and influenced passenger car layouts for decades. Built from 1934 to 1957, the sedan saw widespread use during World War II with French, Free French and German units, serving across varied European fronts.
Tamiya's 1/48 rendition of the Citroen 11CV reproduces the car's classic lines at a small scale. At 91.5mm long and 35mm wide, the kit captures the silhouette and includes fine chassis detail that rewards careful assembly and painting.
The kit supplies decals for four distinct markings so builders can choose civilian or military finishes from French and German services. That variation makes the model adaptable for display cases or small dioramas.
