The kit comes with a Type 130 motor fitted for basic drive functions. In test conditions this setup allows the assembled model to tackle slopes up to about 40 degrees.

Are the tracks fitted usable on layouts and rough surfaces?

Yes, the supplied rubber tracks offer realistic movement and good traction on indoor layouts and moderately uneven terrain, though very rough ground may reduce performance.
