Panther Ausf.G Background

The Panther Ausf.G was developed in the Second World War as a response to the Soviet T-34. Produced from 1943 onwards, it served alongside other wartime tanks such as the Panzer III, Panzer IV and Tiger. Its sloped armour, Maybach powerplant rated around 700hp and the 75mm L/70 gun gave it notable battlefield performance and a high muzzle velocity.
