The Tamiya 24283 kit recreates the Bozian Racing Peugeot 206WRC campaigned by Didier Auriol at the 2005 Monte Carlo Rally. The model captures the vivid red livery with yellow striping and rally markings, reproduced by Cartograf decals for high fidelity. The real 206 featured a 2.0 liter turbocharged engine and an advanced electronic 4WD system, traits that made it a staple of World Rally Championship competition.
This kit reflects the Peugeot 206's compact silhouette, including the characteristic rear wing and wide front fenders. The chassis undertray and cabin-mounted rally equipment are modelled in detail, and the motor is shown in a transverse layout to match the prototype. Semi-slick tarmac tires mimic those used on stages, and the kit includes metal transfers for mirrors and emblems, window masking film, and screen mesh for grille realism.
