The Honda S2000, released in 1999, marked a return to the front-engine, rear-wheel-drive sports format for Honda as part of the brand's 50th anniversary. Famous for its sleek silhouette and engineering, the S2000 uses a 2-liter DOHC VTEC engine that was rated at 250 horsepower. This Tamiya 1/24 scale model recreates the car's proportions and character for hobbyists who prefer accurate static replicas.
This display-oriented kit reproduces the S2000's elongated body and aerodynamic front end with close attention to shape. Builders can present the car with the soft top either open or closed to suit their display. Included decals and metallic stickers help achieve a polished, authentic look.
The cockpit is modelled with bucket seats, an F-1 inspired instrument cluster, and aluminium-style sports pedals. Beneath the model the engine and transmission details are shown along with a double wishbone suspension layout and twin exhausts, all sculpted for visual accuracy.
