The Tamiya 22059 - TD4 20T Metal Bevel Gears are a straightforward upgrade for Super Avante TD4 4WD builds. Made from a durable cast metal alloy, these 20-tooth bevel gears replace the original plastic items to give better wear resistance and more reliable torque transfer in tuned setups.

Model compatibility and intended use

These metal bevel gears fit a range of Tamiya platforms, including Item 58507 (1/10 R/C DB02 Leonis), TD4, and TB-04 chassis cars. They are not compatible with the TD2 chassis. Swapping to these metal gears lets you install higher-output motors and run harder without the frequent wear that plastic gears can show.
