The Tamiya 22039 - TA08 Lightweight Front One-Way Set (37T) is a targeted hop-up for the TA08 4WD platform. This front one-way replaces the standard front gear differential so the front wheels freewheel under deceleration and lock to the drivetrain under throttle. The result is smoother speed retention through flowing corners where maintaining momentum is key.

How it helps high speed cornering

Compared to a normal gear diff or a fixed spool, the one-way lets the front end rotate independently during braking so the car carries more speed through long, sweeping turns. It is best suited to layouts without tight 180 degree hairpins. Pairing with low power motors often yields the most predictable handling when minimal braking is needed.
