Lightweight handling upgrade for Tamiya chassis

The Tamiya 22016 - TA08 Low Friction King Pin Balls are built to improve the behavior of TC-01 and TA-08 chassis. These anodized aluminium balls replace standard steel suspension balls, trimming un-sprung mass by about 0.4 grams per ball to help the car respond more quickly over bumps and corners.

Improved suspension movement

Using low friction king pin balls reduces binding in the king-pin area and helps the suspension move more freely. The hard anodized aluminium offers wear resistance and added stiffness, making them suitable for both front and rear use. For a balanced setup, fit two sets to cover all uprights.

Fitment and installation notes

Made specifically for the TC-01 and TA08 PRO chassis, these king pin balls are a direct swap for 7mm suspension balls and king-pins. For best results consider replacing related parts such as TC-01 C/D suspension items (51663) and TA08 D suspension arms (51669). Each upright uses one ball at the top and one at the bottom to secure the assembly.
