The Tyrrell P34 is remembered as one of Formula 1's most unconventional racers, built around a six-wheel layout that set it apart on tight circuits. At the 1977 Monaco Grand Prix Ronnie Peterson raced the car in its blue and white First National City Bank colours, and although tyre development posed problems the P34 still showed notable aerodynamic developments such as a full engine cowling.
This 1/20 scale Tamiya kit reproduces the P34's characteristic details, including a recreated DFV engine with ignition leads and photo-etched seatbelt buckles for a more convincing cockpit. A display base with a nameplate and a clear case are supplied so finished models can be presented straight away.
